The Mahant Jamanadas Maharaj, Arts, Commerce and Science College, Karanjali, was established on 11th July 2009 by the Sahyadri Shikshan Mandal’s, Dindori. The college is a grant-in-aid and unaided institution, affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University. It offers 3-year undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Chemistry and Botany specializations, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Marathi, History, and Economics specializations, and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a specialization in Marketing Management.
Additionally, the college provides a Nursery Development Career Oriented Certificate Course in collaboration with BAIF. The institution aims to provide educational facilities to tribal, economically backward, and rehabilitated project-affected students. Its objective is to motivate these students for intellectual, moral, social, and academic growth while encouraging them to pursue higher education.
The college campus spans 5 acres, featuring lush greenery and a serene atmosphere. It is located in Karanjali, Nashik district, Maharashtra, about 45 kilometers from Nashik town and 160 kilometers from Vappi. The institution is equipped with excellent infrastructure for teaching and learning, including a fully automated central library.
Currently, the college has 23 teaching and 9 non-teaching administrative staff members, all dedicated to creating a positive learning environment for students.
