The institution has a stated Code of Ethics to check malpractices and plagiarism in research. The college believes in promoting a healthy research culture amongst the students and faculty and does not compromise with the following malpractices and plagiarism regarding project/research work. The college recently established a research committee to facilitate, monitor, and encourage research activities, performing tasks of checking malpractices and plagiarism in research.
Plagiarism software is not installed in the college, which details the percentage of plagiarism. The institution warns faculty and strictly prohibits plagiarism, considering it an act of cheating, fraud, malpractice, misconduct, and a violation of the code. Minor misconduct will be dealt with to rectify it, while researchers with major misconduct will be asked to repeat their work. The committee provides advice and guidance to researchers on all matters pertaining to academic research ethics, also advising teachers doing research to adhere strictly to the code of ethics to enhance the quality of published work.
The term "incubation" takes off from biological “incubators,” where young ones are hatched and nurtured. The college manages incubation centers to nurture startups, understanding that knowledge and innovation are crucial for economic development and structural change across sectors. Keeping this in mind, the college has an incubation center that provides a platform for students to nurture their ideas into viable businesses. The incubation center, along with clubs, conducts special training for students to achieve self-employment.
The college has been conducting various career-oriented programs for the betterment of students. Various cells and clubs are established in college to conduct different activities such as personality development programs, interpersonal relationship building, and team dynamics understanding to develop soft skills.
These different activities are conducted from time to time, providing self-help career options for students and helping with the “Earn While You Learn” facility.
The Career Guidance Cell provides coaching and training to students to improve employability skills in various fields. Special training for self-help activities, such as tailoring for girls and paper bag preparation, is given to achieve self-employment. A special space is provided for such activities.
The Nature Club has started several programs such as tree plantation, seed ball initiatives, forest visits, and nursery development in collaboration with the Forest Department, contributing to the green revolution through soil and water testing.
The Eco Club has initiated several programs under biodiversity, including tree and animal feeding facilities, field visits, plastic waste management, wastewater management, and vermicomposting.
