The Science Association of Sahyandri Shiksan Mandal’s M.J.M. ACS College, Karanjali was established in the year 2013 with an aim to create awareness of science and scientific temperament in the students. The association organizes lectures, field visits, poster presentations, and other competitions to engage young minds to match the vision.
The activities are open to all students of the college irrespective of their stream and sometimes include the students and faculty of other colleges. The objective is to organize activities that will encourage student participation in large numbers and create an opportunity to fill their minds with innovative ideas of science for the benefit of shaping their future.

Sahyandri Shiksahn Mandal’s, M. J. M. Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali Science Association has organized a One-day Online Lecture of Science from the MIT website on 26th September 2018 for T.Y. B.Sc students. On this day, 25 students actively participated in this lecture.
For this event, Dr. R.Y. Borse, Principal of M. J. M. Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali, shared ideas related to encouraging students to engage in such science-related lectures. The Science Association successfully conducted this workshop under the guidance of the Honorable Principal.
Sahyandri Shiksahn Mandal’s, M. J. M. Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali Science Association has organized a One-day Lecture on Plant Identification & Chemicals in Plants on 24th December 2019 for T.Y. B.Sc students. On this day, 40 students actively participated in this lecture.
Dr. A.S. Jondhale, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Botany, M. J. M. Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali, delivered the lecture and introduced the students to the medicinal plants present in our Adivasi region.
Sahyandri Shiksahn Mandal Sanchalit, M. J. M Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali Science Association organized a Poster Presentation Competition on 20th April 2022 for F.Y. B.Sc, S.Y. B.Sc, and T.Y. B.Sc students. On this day, 36 students actively participated in this activity.
The guest of honor, Dr. Arvind Patil, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, KKHA Arts, SMGL Commerce & SPHJ Science College, Chandwad, delivered a lecture on this occasion.
Principal Dr. M.S. Shinde spoke about poster-making skills and the **importance of poster competitions**, emphasizing how they enhance presentation skills.
Dr. D.T. Tayde, Coordinator of the Science Association, conducted the **anchoring** and delivered the **vote of thanks** for this program.
Sahyandri Shiksahn Mandal Sanchalit, M. J. M Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali Science Association successfully celebrated Science Day on the **birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan** on 28th February 2023 for F.Y. B.Sc, S.Y. B.Sc, and T.Y. B.Sc students. On this day, 40 students and 10 teachers actively participated in the celebration.
The guest of honor, Miss. Rachana Raut, Assistant Professor, Dadasaheb Bidkar Arts, Commerce and Science College, Peth, delivered a lecture on this occasion.
Principal Dr. M.S. Shinde delivered a talk on the importance of Science Day and introduced students to the various **innovations** taking place in the modern world.
Faculty members, including Mr. R. H. Waghchaure, Mr. T. C. Gaikwad, Mr. R. M. Nikam, Dr. A. S. Jondhale, Dr. S. P. Chavan, Dr. N. R. Giri, Dr. P. T. Wankhedkar, along with all **teaching and non-teaching staff**, attended the program.

Dr. Rohit Nikam, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, M. J. M Arts Commerce and Science College Karanjali, took the initiative to organize a one-day visit to RYK College, Chemistry Lab, Nashik.
Dr. Pawar introduced students to the **various instruments** available in her laboratory and explained their functions in detail.
