Code of Conduct for Teachers
Whoever adopts teaching as a profession assumes the obligation to conduct himself/herself in accordance with the ideals of the profession. A teacher is constantly under the scrutiny of students and society. Therefore, every teacher should ensure there is no incompatibility between precepts and practice. The national ideals of education, which have already been set forth, must be the teacher’s own ideals.
Teachers should:
- Adhere to a responsible pattern of conduct expected by the community.
- Manage their private affairs in a manner consistent with the dignity of the profession.
- Seek continuous professional growth through study and research.
- Express free and frank opinions by participating in professional meetings, seminars, conferences, etc.
- Maintain active membership in professional organizations and strive to improve education and the profession through them.
- Perform their duties in teaching, tutorials, practicals, seminars, and research work conscientiously and with dedication.
- Cooperate in carrying out functions related to the educational responsibilities of the college and university.
- Participate in extension, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities including community service.
Teachers and Students
- Respect the rights and dignity of students in expressing their opinions.
- Deal justly and impartially with students regardless of their religion, caste, political, economic, social, and physical characteristics.

Code of Conduct for Students
1. Campus Discipline
Self-discipline is the best discipline. All students are expected to observe rules and regulations currently in force to enable the smooth working of the college. Students should comply with the ordinance of 157 of Savitribai Phule Pune University regarding the maintenance of discipline and good conduct.
2. Classroom Attendance
The college runs full-time programs requiring students to attend classroom sessions regularly. According to Savitribai Phule Pune University, students should maintain at least 75% attendance to complete the program. Absenting from the classroom or engaging in non-academic pursuits during scheduled lecture time is considered an offense and will invite disciplinary action.
3. Wearing of Identity Cards
Students must compulsorily wear identity cards on the college campus and must produce them when any staff member asks for identification. Identity cards are also required for borrowing books from the library.
4. Stand Against Ragging
Ragging within or outside the institution is strictly prohibited. Anyone who participates in, abets, or instigates ragging shall face suspension, expulsion, rustication, and may be liable to pay a fine.
