Student Development Board is being implemented in the college under Savitribai Phule Pune University. Dr. Avinash Shivaji Jondhale has worked as a Student Development Officer till 2024-25. The department organised and implemented various activities and programmes for the overall development of students, such as Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme, Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan, Disaster Management Workshop, etc. Earn & Learn scheme and Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan have been approved by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune for the academic year 2023-24.
Earn & Learn Scheme is a social welfare scheme run by the college in collaboration with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The college offers the 'Earn & Learn Scheme', providing employment for economically poor students to enrich them while learning. The main objective of the scheme is to help students who are needy, economically backward, intelligent, and meritorious but cannot afford higher education. This will make higher education accessible to them. The scheme is currently being undertaken at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The students are interviewed by the committee and selected based on their financial background. The selected students must submit a Family Income Certificate to prove they are economically backward. The students enrolled under the scheme are given work that enhances their skills in the areas of study, office work, technical work, and fieldwork.
